I am thy salvation. -- Ps. 35:3.

1 John 5:5-7 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

6This is He who came by water and blood -- Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. NKJV

The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are one in the body of God!

1 John 5:9-10 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater;

for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.

He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself;

he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. NKJV

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true;

and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. NKJV

Jesus is the Son of God, is included in the body of God and is the true God and eternal life!

Rev 2:18
'These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: NKJV

In contrast the I AM's of Jesus center on you and me. "I Am thy shield" to protect you from the darts of Satan (Gen. 15:1).

"I am the God of Bethel" who comes to assure you of My intimate presence with you (Gen. 31:13).

"I am thy salvation" from your self-centered nature and your sins that condemned you to death (Ps. 35:3).

"I am the rose of Sharon," spreading My fragrance of delicate loveliness to enrich your life (S. of Sol. 2:1).

Moving on to the New Testament, Jesus again presents images of His care and concern for us.

"I am the bread of life" who can sustain you not only physically, but eternally and spiritually (John 6:48).

"I am the light of the world," giving brightness, hope, and salvation to all who bathe in My healing beams (John 8:12).

"I am the door," the only way to My kingdom of wealth and splendor, where you will be content and happy for eternity (John 10:9).

"I am the good shepherd," your protector who is leading you to your heavenly home (verse 11). "I am the resurrection and the life," who will raise you at My second coming from the dead with a vibrant healthy body (John 11:25).

"I am the way, the truth, and the life," who looks out for your best interests and assures you of eternal life (John 14:6).

"I am the true vine," but you are a branch so closely knit to Me that I dwell in you and sustain you spiritually (John 15:1).

"I am . . . the bright and morning star," marking the way to heaven, and your groom who is standing at the gate inviting you to "come" (Rev. 22:16, 17).

Our Savior understands us because He is the Son of Man, a human being like us, who assures us repeatedly of His presence.

"I am with you always" (Matt. 28:20).

Jesus is our Salvation! Amen and Amen, Thank you Jesus!

May our prayer be:

"Oh, my best Friend, my Maker, my Lord, shape me and mold me into Thy divine likeness. Make me entirely like Thyself. Refine, purify, quicken me, that I may represent the character of God."

Hi Frank,

Excellent Bible Quotes!

I see that many of them are from the Gospel of John.

There is a new movie coming out that is word for word the gospel of John.

I think it is much like the Jesus film that is mostly word for word from the Gospel of Luke.

I can hardly wait.

God Bless You,
David

Hello Dave

I always enjoy seeing the movie from the book of Luke. I am sure the one from John will be excellent too!

I am looking forward to seeing it when it comes out.

May your walk with Jesus be blessed

Frank
